Hi Jonas!
When did you start and what were you doing before you joined NorthPop?
I started working with NorthPop in autumn 2019 in combination with starting work as a medical doctor at the pediatric clinic at Umeå university hospital.
What do you do for the NorthPop study?
I will be joining NorthPop as a doctoral student where I will be looking more closely at the prevalence of allergic diseases and the factors that affect the risk of developing these. The main focus will be on the significance of diet, both in the mother and the child. Currently I follow up on the allergy tests that participants in the study are offered to take when the child is 18 months old.
How would you describe yourself?
As a happy and ambitious guy who in his spare time prefers to be out in nature fishing or hunting.
Anything else interesting about you that you want to share?
I am the first, of hopefully many, doctoral students who will be looking more closely at the interesting research database that NorthPop is.
